Light Up

Yes, it has been a while and im back feeling inspired!
In the latest issue of the VISI magazine (Issue 53) this A4 exclusive Heath Nash designer lamp has been bagged in each magazine. Heath Nash designs lamps using what other people view as rubbish and reuses and modifies into art works.

i just love his designs. the way the light interacts with the light and the space around it, the shadows that are cast and how the light reflect and creates a mood on the light fitting itself.there is just soemthing so structured and organic about his work that i love: how something that looks strong and sturdy can have that organic and soft nature about it, how the light itself serves as a sculptural piece in a space but also how the light reflected also changes the atmosphere and mood of a space.

i love this lamps simplicity and sophistication and follows the trend of recycling and thinking in a sustainable manner, even if it is something you dont consider.
